Wheel Pin Cushion in Antique Ivory - Victorian

From mid-C19th comes this functional needleworking piece from the French port of Dieppe. The 3/8" thick cushion is sandwiched between two 1 1/2" disks of carved ivory and covered in blue silk. Dieppe's long history of ivory carving stretches back to the C15th, but this piece is from circa 1900. Condition perfect. Worldwide insured air shipping included in listed price. Nothing extra to pay.
