French Silver Plated Chatelaine - c1880.

This item is a lovely FRENCH SILVER PLATED CHATELAINE. It features a clip medalion and four hanging elements - a perfume, a small knife, a covered oval mirror and a scissors holder. The chatelaine is in magnificent condition with bright and complete silver plate. The perfume includes a small glass stopper in perfect condition. The knife is in excellent condition. The mirror has a minor amount of wear to the silvering. The scissors are missing but the holder is in excellent condition and includes the original lining. Each piece has a very nice fleur de lis decoration on the front. The chatelaine is 8" long from the tip of the clip to the tip of the scissors holder. It dates c1880.
