Black Forest Ink Stand with Goat

This item is a brilliantly hand carved BLACK FOREST INK STAND with GOAT. It's overwhelmed with heavy, ornate and detailed carving. It is a masterpiece and a somewhat unusual subject - the goat. THe entire piece is in exceptionally fine condition with no chips, cracks, missing bits or repairs. Overall, it measures 6 1/2"H, 10 1/4"W and 7" deep. THere are two inkwells which we believe to be modern, a pen holder and a pen rest as well.
