1951 Ad - Coca-Cola COKE ~ 'SANTA CLAUS Checking His List of Good Boys & Girls'

This is a genuine original magazine advertisement from a 1951 issue of the Ladies Home Journal.

The dated, 1950s Christmas Coke ad features a classic Haddon Sundblom illustration of Santa Claus enjoying a bottle of Coca-Cola while consulting his notebook of naughty or nice children. He is seated at his desk with his huge ledger book of "Good Boys and Girls" open, ready for notations. A large quill pen sits in a glass inkwell while a big globe is present for Santa to plan his Christmas Eve circumnavigation. This vintage Coke ad is captioned, "...talk about being good". The series of Coke Christmas ads have, over the decades, provided charming images of childhood nostalgia

This LARGE 1950s advert measures 13 5/8" x 10 1/4" (approx.). The image of this advertisement has been accommodated completely by a large-format scanner. This Fifties print ad is in very good condition with a modicum of the attendant signs of age & wear (i.e. rippling in lower right corner) and is eminently suitable for framing - ideal for the collector of vintage Coca-Cola memorabilia or Christmas-related ephemera.
