These adorable little hard plastic angel Christmas ornaments have hand painted faces, mica-glittered hoods and dresses, and tiny little real brass (metal) wings. They're about 1-3/4 inches high and were made in Western Germany between 1947 and 1951. There are six angels in the brown waxed paper box, two dressed in pink, four in white. The pink angels appear to be dancing with raised arms and swirling skirts, two stand solemnly with their hands clasped at the waist, and two are warming their hands in muffs. The angels are dusted in fine clear sugar glitter which has picked up a little dust and soiling, most of which will brush off. One of the white angels only has a single brass wing. The box is intact but the lid is missing the cellophane window and has some splits at the opening.
