This set of two porcelain ceramic Christmas spaghetti angel planters was made in 1950s Japan by TMJ. They are 4-3/4" high, standing in front of their holly-decorated planter vases. One is blond and carries a purse, candy cane, and wrapped presents. The brunette angel holds a parasol and a basket of holly. Both wear long hooded red capes with spaghetti fur trim.
The brunette angel is missing some spaghetti fur trim at the bottom of her cape. The back corner may have a piece broken off, it's hard to tell, but the front area near her parasol appears to be made that way. The way the figurine is painted indicates there never was any spaghetti trim in that area. I can't find any flaws, chips, or damage to the fur of the blond angel. The back of one hood and the red dresses have some minor loss or wear to the red paint, nothing serious. Both have their original foil labels reading "Supreme Quality TMJ Japan". Price is for the pair.
