Chinex Flower Bouquet Sandwich Cake Plate
Chinex was made by MacBeth-Evans in the late 1930s to early 1940s. It's similar to their Cremax line, but Chinex has an embossed floral scroll pattern just inside the piecrust rim. This ivory white 12" diameter plate is called the sandwich or cake plate and is decorated with a pretty bouquet of roses and other flowers in orange, blue, and yellow. It's in excellent, still glossy condition with no chips, cracks, or flakes, just a few very minor stacking marks on the surface.
