Shiny Brite Compo Boots Chenille Bottle Brush Christmas Ornaments
A box of six retro composition Christmas ornaments, made in 1950s Japan for Shiny Brite. They are cardboard boots with gold foil leaf, each filled with little decorated bottle brush trees, lacquered holly leaves, mercury glass ball ornaments, and other items. One has mercury glass candles, another foil candy canes, and four have spun cotton figures: angel, elf, Santa, and snowman. The ornaments are about 3-1/2 inches high and have gold thread loops for hanging on the Christmas tree. The mercury glass ornaments have some loss of the inner silvering, otherwise they're all in good condition. The original box has some storage wear, especially to the lid.
