1917 Sweetheart Children Mechanical Valentine

A sweet Valentine card from around 1917 featuring a chubby Grace Drayton style boy with sled facing a little girl, all bundled up in the snow. The die-cut boy's outline is framed and hinged at the front. Upon opening, the little girl's full profile is revealed standing in the snow with the words "Yes, I'll be your sweetheart". The back is signed in ink "Violet Rehn". The date 1917 is written at the bottom in a different color ink. The Valentine is lithographed on heavy coated cardstock and measures 3-3/8" diameter. Very good condition.
