Large Lucite Compact, Hand-Painted Louvre Paris Scene - Unique

This desirable and collectible compact is clear Lucite, measuring 3-7/8 inches in diameter. It contains the original powder puff and mesh screen.

The mirror is intact, but has some spots, as you can see in my photo. The compact is in very good condition, although there is a 1/4-inch chip near the clasp – it is polished smooth so it may have been done when the top was molded.
