Musical Selections from `The Mascot', Italian Comic Opera, 1881

This booklet contains several selections of words and music from the comic opera "The Mascot", composed by Edmond Audran. The action takes place in Italy, and two characters in costume are illustrated on the cover.

The first page lists the characters, the complete index to the opera, and a synopsis of the story (called the Argument). The booklet measures 8-1/2 by 10-/12 inches and contains 32 pages. It was published in the United States by Oliver Diston and Company, copyrighted 1881.

There is a store stamp at the bottom right of the cover. Condition is very good.

This item will be protectively packaged with a backing board and plastic sleeve in a large bubble envelope.
