1952 Ice Follies Program, Colorful Pin-Up Cover by Artist Fritz Willis

This is the program for the 1952 national tour of Shipstads & Johnson's Ice Follies, a professional ice-skating extravaganza. The centerfold program gives an idea of the variety of performances, from solo performances, romantic duets, comedy acts and production numbers.

The cover illustration is by noted pin-up artist Fritz Willis - the first of 18 covers that Willis painted for the Ice Follies.

The program measures 8-1/2 by 11 inches, and contains 16 pages, including two pages of brief biographies of the ice-skating stars. It is in good condition, with some rubbing and a fold down the center, and wear on the edges.

This item will be protectively packaged with a backing board and plastic sleeve.
