Carved Applejuice Bakelite Bangle Bracelet, Floral Design
This stylish 1930s Bakelite bangle bracelet has been carefully carved in a lovely flower and leaf design. It is a translucent Bakelite material usually known as applejuice, and I love the color – as you turn the bracelet, you can see hues of purple, green and gold. My photos show several views.

The hot water test resulted in the tell-tale odor for Bakelite. The bracelet has an inside diameter of 2-1/2 inches, and is 1/2 inch wide. It is in excellent condition.
