Speedway Oil, Red “C” Company Ad for Garage Wall, Battleship Oregon

This is an advertising piece for Speedway Oils and Greases, manufactured by the Red "C" Mfg. Co. in Baltimore, Maryland, with works in Pittsburgh and Highlandtown, MD. The piece was a giveaway from the Carolina Motor Company in Statesville, North Carolina.

The front has a picture of the Battleship Oregon, which is glued on only at the top. On the back are the features and benefits of Speedway Oil "for the very life of your car". Red "C" was incorporated in 1878 and states that it is "Always Independent of Trusts".

This advertisement piece is a lightweight cardboard and has a punched hole at the top to be hung probably on a garage wall. It measures 10 by 5-1/2 inches and is in very good condition.
