Blue Transferware Dish, Wood’s Seaforth Pattern, Burslem, England

This pretty little dish is similar to the Blue Willow pattern, but is called "Seaforth". It is an unusual size, possibly a coaster, measuring 4-1/2 inches in diameter.

The backstamp reads: "Seaforth, Enoch 1784 & Ralph 1750, Wood's Burslem England". This lovely and unusual dish is in very good condition. The spots seen on the back are stilt marks from kiln firing. The lighter blue area seen at the bottom of the dish is a reflection from the camera.
