Two Comic Military Postcards – Navy, Lighthouse, Battleship
These two funny linen-finish postcards date to the World War II years of the 1940s. One shows a woman on a dock waving goodbye as a ship cruises in the distance. This card is in very good condition, and is postmarked 1943.
The second card has an illustration of sailors rowing past a lighthouse, in which the silhouette of a woman can be seen through the window. This card is in good unmailed condition, with a brown stain on the back, and a tiny tear and spot on the bottom front.
These postcards will be packaged in a rigid plastic sleeve and bubble envelope, and shipped by first class mail. Postal insurance may be declined if not desired.
