The green mark was used from 1901 to 1912, and we've shown the other marks, as well, on the set of 6 pristine old Royal Worcester cabinet or decorator plates in this lot. I've been hanging onto these, thinking I'd put a plate rack valance on a bedroom window and display the 6 plates up there, but since I have not yet done so, I'm offering them for someone else who can actually find the time to decorate with this lovely old set. Yes, there are 6. We had 5 of these for a time and just found a 6th that is an exact match for the set - what are the odds, right? A set of 6 for table or display. We think decorating with them is the best plan, since the hand painted centers are truly works of fine art, and deserve to be displayed, not scratched by fork tines. But what a choice set of decorative accents these are! Beautiful as top plates for your table, but please lift them and replace with salad plate service to avoid getting utensil scrapes on this rare old set.
Very good to excellent condition, as shonw. Each scene is different, all hand painted. Note that we've shown all 6. Not a scrape or scratch, no chips or nips or hairlines to diminish either your enjoyment or the value of these stunning plates.
