Antique Shreve Gilt Sterling Silver 13" Tray, 50th Anniv. Vermeil: 1866-1916 WWI era Golden Anniversary Piece
Wonderful antique Shreve & Co. gilded sterling silver or 'vermeil' 13.5" serving or vanity tray, a WWI era 50th or Golden anniversary piece dated 1868-1916! Thick, heavy silver with an elegant 18K gold vermeil finish and in fabulous, definitely treasured condition. Simple fluted bordering, the large interlaced monogram and dates are the predominant decoration and rightfully so. Great for displaying a collection of treasured smalls, perfume bottles or even liquor decanters. Go gold!
