Antique Victorian Era Opaline 11" Vase, Painted Bird & Foliage

Fine antique Victorian to Edwardian era 11 1/8" flower vase in a white colored opaline glass with hand painted sparrow or bird and colorful foliate decoration! Commonly referred to as Bristol glass but is more opalescent in nature and Bristol generally has a more translucent appearance. This one is opaque white with a lovely shaping and footed base! The body has vividly colored hand painted leaves and a charming little bird or sparrow figure perched on the branch. A wonderful nicely sized vase, we guarantee you'll love it!

Very good condition. A few tiny nips to the upper glass rim but no large chips and no cracks. The painting is all as brilliant as can be with just a bit of loss or wear to the vine tendrils and/or berries. See pictures for measurements.
