Rome! Antique Micromosaic Earrings Pair, 14k Pantheon, Colisseum - Goldstone basin, large micro mosaic plaques, lots of gold!

My favorite pair of micromosaic earrings, sporting architectural views of Rome, both my favorites: The Pantheon, and the Colisseum. Who doesn't love those remnants of the Roman Empire's mark on history, culture, politics and art/architecture. My very first night spent in Rome was at the Sole del Pantheon, a 1400s building, with my window opening to an early morning Tuscan light and the front of the Pantheon. I will never forget that moment! The magic of it was palpable. It remains my favorite place of many in Rome. Yes, I digress, sorry. The pair of earrings here are spectacular, larger than usual plaques with adventuring basins (goldstone) and beautifully crafted frames or mounts of 14k yellow gold with long and perfectly comfortable ear wires of 14k gold, as well. They have a catch at bottom so you need not fear losing them. Aren't they just stunning!

Very good to excellent condition, they have no chips or cracks or hairlines, and all the old colored glass tessera are intact within the micromosaics. The gold mounts are spectacular and frame the plaques beautifully. The best possible souvenir of your own Grand Tour of Italy! circa mid-1800s, and surely plaques taken home as Grand Tour souvenirs in their origin.
