Fabulous Vintage genuine alligator skin 12 7/8" satchel, purse or hand bag with large raised center back or 'hornback' scales on both sides! two expanding pockets inside with a center zippered space. Sadly, it's just shy of being able to hold standard 8.5 x 11" paper (wide enough, just not tall enough), wouldn't it make a fabulous briefcase if so! Great for smaller sized contents though, a PDA and some business essentials perhaps. One large center back cut alligator skin panel forms the front & back, the raised scales of the reptile's head and back evident along the length. The inside is in what appears to be a dark suede leather and just about as pristine as can be! A fabulous and very fashionable accessory, don't miss it!

Very good condition. One original imperfection is visible on the right lower side of the front flap, a slight raised strip between the scales. The original handle but a bit more aged looking than the rest of the piece and may need strengthening before toting anything of substantial weight. The rest, both front and back, are in as fine condition as I've seen! See pictures for measurements.
