The exquisite quality of Royal Doulton bone china is evident in this diminutive floral arrangement. The delicate artistry in these beguiling porcelain blossoms is astonishing! A tiny, two-handled, white, bone china kettle stands on three legs and holds five applied flowers in an appealing blend of pastels. There are two roses in yellow and pink, two four-petaled blossoms in blue and purple, and a white carnation tipped in deep purple. All of these are set off by a profusion of green leaves.
The figurine is stamped with the Royal Doulton circle which reads: "Made in England, Royal Doulton, England, Bone China," topped by a crown and lion. This mark was used between 1932 and 1959. There is also a purple artist's mark.
This tiny bone china figurine measures 1-1/2 inches in diameter for the pot, 2 inches total with the added dimension of the flowers spilling out of the top, and only about 2-1/4 inches tall!
Though these floral arrangements are nearly always flawed, I can find no damage. Thank you for your interest! Please visit Maggie Belle's again soon!
