Wedgwood Pink Transferware Historical Plate Fort Ticonderoga Winter Scene
Offering a pink and white transferware historical plate by Wedgwood of Eturia, England. The plate features a winter scene of Fort Ticonderoga on Lake Champlain in upstate NY, Built by the French 1751-1758. The plate has a beautiful floral border. The back of the plate bears the Wedgwood logo with an importer stamp: Jones McDuffee and Stratton Co. Boston. There are also incised marks that include WEDGWOOD and the number 10C45 which gives it the year of 1945. This historical Wedgwood China plate measures 10 1/4" in diameter. The plate is part of a series of historical plates. It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or crazing.
