Alfred Meakin Pink/Red Transferware Pitcher Reverie Pattern
Beautiful pattern called 'Reverie' by Alfred Meakin of Staffordshire England. This pink/red transferware pitcher has a wonderful rural scene on the sides as well as the inside of the spout. The handle is decorated with a leaf pattern. The pitcher measures 7" tall and 6 1/2" wide spout to handle. This size would be called a milk pitcher. I purchased this with a large bowl that I have listed in my shop as well. Very nice condition with no chips, cracks or crazing. The piece dates to the 1950's - 60's. Alfred Meakin Ltd was in business from 1913 – 1976 when it was purchased by Myott.
