Offering a very stately 14 piece china set by Edelstein porcelain of Bavaria circa 1930 - 1940. The pattern has a elegant wide gold banded trim with a black floral design within which is really set off from the white porcelain. Edelstein porcelain Factory was a maker of fine china in Kups, Bavaria and was in business up until 1974. This set came out a wonderful New York city estate where I purchased many fine items to offer in my shop. The 14 piece set includes;
(1) Large covered oval bowl with gilt handles. Measures 12 1/2 long handle to handle, 7 1/4" wide and 3" deep. excellent condition!
(1) Gravy boat with attached underplate. Measures 9 1/4" X 6" and 3 1/2" tall. This has some wear to the gold trim, But not bad.
(1) Small covered tureen with attached underplate and gilt handle. Measures 9 1/4" X 6" and 2 1/2" deep. Very good condition.
(11) Plates measuring 7 3/4". Minimal wear to gold rims if any.
The bases of all the pieces display the Edelstein stamp in green along with the pattern number 969.
