We have an outstanding Victorian end of day cased glass basket with bright colors of pink, yellow and orange with a unique clear applied handle with thorns.
The late 19th Century piece has tightly crimped edges and a white interior. I believe this to be from the Stourbridge England area as it has many of their glass manufacturing characteristics. The basket measures 6" by 4 3/4" and stands 5 1/2" tall. There is one small chip in the corner on the inside of one of the crimps, and a small bubble pop in another corner which is a common manufacturing flaw, (Please see pictures of the two areas). These do not detract from the beauty or use of this splendid piece.
