Hull Apple Cookie Jar, circa 1930-50

My first great feat of dexterity as a child was learning to put the lid back on the cookie jar without making a sound. And, believe me, it wasn't easy when the slightest tap of pottery top to pottery body rang out like a church bell! Just looking at this classic cookie jar by Hull brings back memories so strong I can almost taste chocolate chips and walnuts.

As with so many of the treasured items of my youth, it's time to share the memories with others. Besides, finding space for the objects is much more difficult than storing the memories in my mind. This well used and well loved 8.5" tall cookie jar with it's 8.5" diameter is still ready to hold both cookies and memories for you and your family. Missing red cold paint on the creamy apple shaped body is the only imperfection. No cracks, chips or color flaws mar the appearance or usefulness of this great piece. Priced for sharing, this Hull creation will be a treasured addition to your kitchen or collection.
