Antique Match Safe Holder Vesta - German Silver

This is a old match safe. It has the initials "T S" or "F S" marked on one side. It is also marked "G SILVER" on the inside edge.

This type of match holder probably belonged to a "working man", since G Silver is not actually silver but a nickle product.

There are some minor dents, after all this was carried in a pocket. There is a strike plate on the bottom front and back.

It measures 1-1/2" wide and 2-3/4" high. The hinge is in good working order. Please click on the picture to see all these details.
