Vintage HOBE Glass Seed Bead and Faux Pearl Necklace and Earrings Set – Vintage Hobe Torsade Demi Parure Jewelry

The three row adjustable wrap style bracelet is made up of beads that match the necklace. Please look at the enlarged pictures because the beads are stunning!

The earrings are clip-ons and have the same beads as the necklace and bracelet. The earrings are marked Hobe, and have a "plastic roller" attached to each clip, a design option used extensively by Hobe.

ERA: Pre 1958 mark. It has no copyright symbol.

SIZE: The necklace measures 51"long, and can worn tied, gently looped or wound around your neck. The bracelet measures 8 1/2" (Approximately) and is 1" wide. The earrings measure 1 1/4" across.

CONDITION: Near-excellent pre-owned condition. Everything looks fabulous! Ready to wear.

HISTORY OF HOBE JEWELRY: The company was founded by Jacques Hobe, in 1883 in France. After WW-ll William Hobe', the son, moved the company to the U.S.A. In California he made jewelry for the Ziegfeld Follies, and catered to the Hollywood crowd. Hobe jewelry is still being made, but has nothing to do with the original family. Hobe provided jewelry to high end department stores and expensive boutiques. It was the "darling" of Hollywood starlets in the 50's.
