Vintage ZUNI Petit Point Turquoise Sterling Silver Bracelet – R.Q. Panteah – Vintage Native American Indian Zuni Jewelry
Unmarked but tests for sterling silver. It is signed on the inside R. Q. PANTEAH. The mark used by Zuni silversmiths, Rosemary and Quincy Panteah.
Rosemary and Quincy Panteah started making petit point jewelry in 1961 as a husband and wife team. Quincy was governor of Zuni Pueblo from 1982 to 1983. They marked their jewelry with R. Q. PANTEAH.
SIZE: 5 ½" measured around the inside, and 13/16" wide. The opening measures 1" across. I have a 6 ½" wrist and it fits fine, while my friend has a 7" wrist and it fits her well too. This is a weighty bracelet measuring in at 22 grams.
