About Stan Ekman:
Stan Ekman was one of America’s best-loved illustrators. His illustrations appeared on the covers of Saturday Evening Post, Colliers, American Weekly and Coronet Magazines.
Stan Ekman was born in Chicago, Illinois and received his formal education at the Art Institute of Chicago. Ekman was a member of the Society of Illustrators in New York, Artist Guild in Chicago and the Society of Typographic Arts. He was represented for several years by O'Brien's Art Emporium in Scottsdale, Arizona where he was frequently featured in solo exhibitions. Ekman's work has been included in many private and corporate collections, including the Santa Fe Railway Collection, Bank of America and Northern Trust.
