Rare Vintage Pressed Manganese Glass Compote Portrait Medallion

Here is a unique vintage pressed Manganese glass Compote. No Cover. In good vintage condition. Featuring two Beaded Medallion Portraits . The compote is in good vintage condition. Measures approx. 4" tall by 7.5" across the top. Displays Well! No cracks or chips. Over 1 pound 9 oz weight. Glows under Black UV Lite.

Note : Note : Manganese is a mineral used to strengthen glass instead of lead. Manganese causes glass to turn purple when exposed to light over long periods of time. It glows yellowish green under black/ UV lite . This glass has not turned "Sun Purple", it remains crystal clear but It will turn purple if left in the sun.
