These wonderful 19th century French enamels are more and more difficult to find, many having already found their way into collections. This candle holder in here is a fine example of an antique French kiln fired enamels, most popular in 1860-1910. Candle holder made of bronze, it is embellished with gilding and enchanting floral design in colorful enamels. It will look great when grouped with similar enamel items (vases or boxes - a variety of goods were made) or even on its own, and will bring delightful ambiance to any decor. The candle holder stands slightly over 5 cm high; it is 17.5 cm long. It is in very good condition, I don't really see any flow in kiln fired enamel. Please see pictures for details.
