This is one of my favorite pieces from my Art Deco collection. It is so streamlined and elegant, and looks stunning when worn with black and/or white. Acquired from Germany, it reminds me of the work of Theodor Fahrner, but in this case the maker's mark is 'AHB'. It is a genuine Art Deco era piece, crafted in Continental 800 parts Silver (marked and acid tested). It comprises an oblong Onyx Pendant decorated along the edges with Marcasites (and on the bail) and a small feature cabochon of genuine pale pink Rose Quartz. The original German chain remains and is marked 835 parts silver . The pendant is 2 inches long (inc. bail) by 5/8 inches wide (5 cm by 1.7 cm) and the length of the chain is 16 inches (41 cm). Total weight is 9 grams. The pendant is in excellent condition. No marcasites missing, cracked or damaged and only the tiniest of fleabite chips to the lower left side of the onyx (too small and too dark to photograph) but only visible under strong magnification.
