Nothing like an Alexander McQueen jacket to give your mood a boost. The late McQueen has been one of the most lauded designers in the past 50 years. The New York's Metropolitan Museum's Costume Institute attracted over 660,000 visitors to its exhibition "Alexander McQueen: Savage Beauty" in 2011. If you are not familiar with the remarkable nature of his work, you can get an idea of his work by going to the Metropolitan museum's site and see for yourself. This is an opportunity to purchase one of his pieces at a fraction of their original cost.
This small checkered pattern is so subtle that it's hard to even tell its color. I guess I would call it a very subtle shade of purple. It's in as-new condition, probably was never worn as the exterior pockets have never been cut and there are no defects. There is also an interior pocket in the lining that feels like silk, but is probably a polyiamide -- not designated.
The cut is so perfect that anyone will look good in this medium size Italian 44. It is 27" long, 16" across the shoulders, with 23.5" sleeves, a 33" waist, and 38" hip. It is 100 percent wool with 3 extra buttons attached. It has a 5.5" "kick pleat" in the back for extra comfort.
You will probably never find another jacket like it. Don't pass it up! Please email us if you have any questions. Like all my Ruby Lane items, it is returnable for any reason, as long as undamaged at your cost for return postage and insurance only.
