Return Policy

Ruby Lane and each of its independent shops want you to be satisfied with your purchase. To ensure your satisfaction and for the protection of both the buyer and shop owner, we have a Return Policy that each Ruby Lane shop owner honors. View Return Policy

Shipping/Handling/Insurance Policy

Buyer pays for actual shipping, handling and insurance. Please be assured that I pack thoughtfully and carefully, offering first the most logical shipping method for each item. For multiple purchases I will combine shipping unless it would cause an item to ship unsafely. If an item is damaged in shipping, please do save all of the original packaging and contact me so that I can help. For listings where I have required insurance, please believe that I'm acting in your best interest. I'm confident in my packing skills but can't prevent human error or accidents elsewhere.

Restocking Fee

I am confident that the pieces I sell will be satisfactory in every way. However, I do understand that the item may not be exactly what was hoped for. Many of the items I sell are vintage housewares. Some have seen some significant use but nonetheless have long enduring value and beauty. I examine each item carefully, document any issues and provide photographs. Please consider carefully before returning an item but know that I will understand. The buyer must pay the return freight and ship the item back safely and securely.

Layaway Policy

This shop offers a layaway plan for purchases. The Ruby Lane Return Policy does not apply to layaway purchases, and Layaway Plans may vary by shop. It is extremely important to read and understand this shops Layaway Plan below, and clarify any terms with the individual shop owner before you enter into a Layaway Plan agreement.
