Welcome to WhimsicalVintage!

As the holidays approach, please be assured that I will expedite your order in the most timely manner possible...keeping an eye on its travels from my home to yours, ensuring accurate and on time delivery. If you have any questions regarding shipping times via the various carriers during the holiday season, please contact me.

If the item that you're purchasing is a gift, I am happy to include specialty wrapping and/or a personal note or card...simply contact me with details. Gift wrapping and personal note, at no extra charge.

I offer free US shipping on jewelry orders over $25.00. I will do my best with certain jewelry items to offer free International shipping on orders over $25.00. However, due to the increase in International shipping charges, most jewelry items will be calculated by weight. Your jewelry will be packed in a WhimsicalVintage gift box.

All purchases ship within 24 hours (excluding holidays).

Items will be shipped via USPS First Class or Priority Mail (where noted) or UPS Ground or 3 Day Select with delivery confirmation and shipping insurance. When purchasing multiple items, your order will be calculated based on the sum of all weights. However, once packaged, any overage charged in the total shipping, will be refunded immediately upon shipment.

WhimsicalVintage does accept Paypal's "Bill Me Later" option.
If you have a "Bill Me Later" account with Paypal, simply proceed through checkout and choose that option from your Paypal page.

Please keep in mind that a Paypal account is not required for Credit Card checkout - Paypal only handles the processing. Once you're ready to checkout, click on "Checkout with Paypal". This will transfer you to the Paypal Page. To checkout without using Paypal, click on "Don't Have a Paypal Account" or "Continue as Paypal Guest". This will allow you to checkout only using your credit card information - If you have any questions, please let me know:)

Please remember that the vintage dates of these items are based on stamping, signing or labeling, when possible. Methods used to quote dates of unsigned, labeled or stamped pieces are a combination of style, quotes from original owners and research. The items that I acquire are in excellent condition, unless otherwise noted. Occasionally I will pick an item based on it's unique qualities that I feel outweigh any disclosed flaws. Maintaining the integrity of vintage and antique items is very important to me. I price my items based on their collectible value, i.e. signed pieces are more valuable than unsigned, as well as the unique or hard to find qualities that they may possess. Pricing items in this manner will maintain their value for years to come.
My research for dating and pricing vintage/antiques items is extensive - if you have any questions regarding the pricing or dating of a particular piece, please let me know...I will happily provide all research information.

Ruby Lane and each of its independent shops want you to be satisfied with your purchase. To ensure your satisfaction and for the protection of both the buyer and shop owner, we have a Return Policy that each Ruby Lane shop owner honors. View Return Policy

Shipping/Handling/Insurance Policy

Items will ship within 24 hours from time of purchase and/or receipt of payment, with a shipping time of 2-8 business days within the United States and 8-21 business days on International shipments. All shipping will be through the USPS, parcel post or priority mail, depending on the weight of the item and unless otherwise noted. Insurance is included on jewelry items (US and International orders) under $75.00. Jewelry items over $75.00 will have the insurance cost added to the purchase and you have the choice of declining the option.
Please remember that shipping costs reflect the actual cost plus shipping supplies.
Due to changes in US postal policies heavier International shipments (over 4 pounds) need to be sent Priority Mail, making them more expensive to ship. If you are interested in one of these items, please contact me with your location for a price quote.

Restocking Fee

I do not charge a restocking fee on returned items.

Layaway Policy

This shop offers a layaway plan for purchases. The Ruby Lane Return Policy does not apply to layaway purchases, and Layaway Plans may vary by shop. It is extremely important to read and understand this shops Layaway Plan below, and clarify any terms with the individual shop owner before you enter into a Layaway Plan agreement.
