Our Service Pledge

We accept all bank cards. AND, Yes! we can ship to other countries at the Priority Mail insured rate. Let us know if you would like a quote, and we can then open that listing for a non-U.S. sale. To protect the buyer, The shipping address must be the same as the billing address on your credit card. We do not ship to 3d party shippers.

Books can also be sent via Priority Mail, please ask for a revised invoice.

We guarantee the authenticity of all our antique and vintage items. Please just keep in mind that most antique items are old and may have customary handling wear or small flaws that are unique and charming characteristics of any individual item. It's wise to examine the photographs of each listing carefully, and to ask to see more photographs if you need them. Our ultimate goal is to make your purchase memorable and satisfying, so that we become your seller of choice! My husband jokingly calls me the "Master Packer", as I always pack with extreme care, ultimately ensuring your package arrives safely. Above all, I want you to be happy with your purchase so that you'll visit again. Layaways are encouraged, and are at the discretion of the shop owner. Please ask about terms, normally 2 months, and we can sometimes offer you more months when needed.

Return Policy

Ruby Lane and each of its independent shops want you to be satisfied with your purchase. To ensure your satisfaction and for the protection of both the buyer and shop owner, we have a Return Policy that each Ruby Lane shop owner honors. View Return Policy

Shipping, Handling, Insurance Policy

All parcels $500+ require signature confirmation. We can open our auctions to non-U.S. locations, shipping is Priority Mail insured only.

Restocking Fee

Payments are due within 2 days of purchase, or the item will be relisted. Please ask all questions before your make your purchase, as we charge a 20% restocking fee on all purchased and/or returned items, and do not refund return postage fees. ALL Layaway payments are NON-refundable once items are purchased, and items are not returnable (see details below). On layaways, please be courteous and make your payments on time. A no payment received will result in the item being withdrawn from layaway and relisted for sale after a 1 week lapse, and a 20% restocking fee may be imposed.

Layaway Policy

This shop offers a layaway plan for purchases. The Ruby Lane Return Policy does not apply to layaway purchases, and Layaway Plans may vary by shop. It is extremely important to read and understand this shops Layaway Plan below, and clarify any terms with the individual shop owner before you enter into a Layaway Plan agreement.

**Restocking and Cancellation Fees apply to the total purchase price of the item and DO NOT include shipping/handling or sales tax, which are the responsibility of the buyer.

Other Information

Layaways for 60 days or longer are available. We normally ask for 50% down, but can work out a payment schedule with you. $4 per each layaway month will be added to your total purchases. Checks are appreciated on layaways. You are always welcome to add to your layaway at any time, and we can just extend your payment schedule. We can go longer on layaway months, when we set aside several items for you, please inquire. Layaways are at the discretion of the shop owner, and some limitations apply. If you've seen an item, and it is no longer listed, please ask about it, as we rotate our stock and it may be it hasn't actually sold.
