Our Service Pledge

We respond to all orders and inquires within 48 hours. We strive to guarantee the authenticity of all our items. Please remember that all of our items are Antique or Vintage and may or may not have the usual minimal utensil marks or slight wear from normal use. Anything of significance is duly noted in our descriptions and photographed if possible. We strive very hard to assure the high-quality of our products and to fully disclose any significant flaws. Rest assured that we stand behind our products and guarantee customer satisfaction.Condition of an item is and always will be subjective to ones personal criteria.

Ruby Lane and each of its independent shops want you to be satisfied with your purchase. To ensure your satisfaction and for the protection of both the buyer and shop owner, we have a Return Policy that each Ruby Lane shop owner honors. View Return Policy

Shipping/Handling/Insurance Policy

Buyer pays for actual shipping, handling and insurance.

If we are shipping international and buying insurance is NOT available through USPS you are assuming 100% of the risk involved. In most case if you want insurance for international shipments we will be able to offer you something.

NO RETURNS OUTSIDE OF RUBY LANE'S PUBLISHED RETURN POLICY WILL BE ALLOWED.

For the protection or our customers, all refunds will be issued in the same form of payment as was made.

In the event of a request from the customer to receive a refund in the form of a check or money order we will deduct the original fees charged by the credit card company when purchased.

Please do not attempt to return an item due to shipping damage. Should it occur in spite of my careful packaging, this must be handled through the shipping agent with an insurance claim. I will be happy to assist in this. Always be sure to retain all original packaging if a claim is to be made as the shipping agent will request to examine it.

INSURANCE:
INSURANCE IS REQUIRED ON ALL PURCHASES SHIPPED IN THE USA. INSURANCE MAY BE AVAILABLE ON INTERNATIONAL SHIPMENTS. IF YOU CHOOSE NOT TO PURCHASE INSURANCE AND YOUR ITEM IS DAMAGED DURING SHIPMENT,WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE TO REFUND ANY MONIES. IF THERE IS SHIPPING DAMAGE TO YOUR PURCHASE,YOU WILL RECEIVE A POTENTIAL REFUND FROM THE CARRIER WITH A PROPERLY FILE CLAIM. THE BUYER IS REQUIRED TO FILE ALL DAMAGE AND LOSS CLAIMS.
PLEASE....CONTACT ME IF YOU NEED ASSISTANCE. WHEN WE SHIP AN ITEM, IT IS PACKAGED EXTREMELY WELL FOR TRAVEL. WE DO NOT CHARGE A HANDLING FEE BASED ON THE AMOUNT OF PACKAGING REQUIRED TO SHIP YOUR ITEM.


Shipment: Your item will be mailed after verified clearance of your Personal or Business check (please allow 15 banking days) and after actual funding of PayPal "E-Check" (please allow 5 banking days).

Purchase more than one item at one time and I will ship them together (if possible) to save you money on shipping.

Orders will be shipped out within 2 business days if payment made by Paypal. The mailing date will vary for other methods of payment.

Restocking Fee

There will be a 10% restocking fee on all items which have been pre-approved and are in accordance with Ruby Lane's published return policy. Please contact us by email to obtain a pre-approved return number prior to shipment.

Items returned without a pre-approval number will be processed in accordance with Ruby Lanes published return policy, however there will be a 20% restocking fee.

Layaway Policy

This shop offers a layaway plan for purchases. The Ruby Lane Return Policy does not apply to layaway purchases, and Layaway Plans may vary by shop. It is extremely important to read and understand this shops Layaway Plan below, and clarify any terms with the individual shop owner before you enter into a Layaway Plan agreement.

We believe very strongly in protecting your privacy and personal information when purchasing from us. There may be situations we want to verify the purchase you have made. It may be necessary to ask for confirmation of your purchase with a personal phone call from Timber Hills Antiques or an additional email from Ruby Lane. Should this occur please know it is for confirmation of information you have provided regarding the payment method selected. RED TAG SALES: SORRY, "make offer" will not be available on items marked 50% off during RED TAG sales. We reserve the right to cancel purchase orders for reasons mentioned above. Our LAYAWAY PLAN is available on all RED TAG SALE ITEMS with a combined sale total of $100 or more.

No sales tax will charged at this time.

Simple Layaway plans are offered for up to 90 days. Please ask Eileen for details. 30-60-90 day plans are fun and easy ! Only 25% down (NON-REFUNDABLE) is required to get started.
