We guarantee the authenticity of all our items. We attempt to describe all items and their condition accurately. We will respond to all orders within 24-36 hours, unless out of town or on vacation.

Return Policy

Ruby Lane and each of its independent shops want you to be satisfied with your purchase. To ensure your satisfaction and for the protection of both the buyer and shop owner, we have a Return Policy that each Ruby Lane shop owner honors. View Return Policy

Shipping/Handling/Insurance Policy

Buyer pays for actual shipping, handling, and insurance. Shipping and insurance costs are not refundable on returns.

Restocking Fee

We charge a 10% restocking fee on all items returned.

Layaway Policy

This shop offers a layaway plan for purchases. The Ruby Lane Return Policy does not apply to layaway purchases, and Layaway Plans may vary by shop. It is extremely important to read and understand this shops Layaway Plan below, and clarify any terms with the individual shop owner before you enter into a Layaway Plan agreement.

*Down payment applies to the percentage of the order total, including shipping and tax.
**Restocking and Cancellation Fees apply to the total purchase price of the item and DO NOT include shipping/handling or sales tax, which are the responsibility of the buyer.

We accept Paypal and are a verified user. Paypal seller ID will be provided upon request.

Illinois residents must pay a 9.75% sales tax, unless they provide a copy of a valid Illinois Resale Certificate number and accompanying business information.

We also offer extended layaways, upon request, for an item over $150.00. Purchase for layaway items up to $400.00 requires 1/2 of the amount due at the time of purchase and the balance due 30 days after the date of the original purchase. Purchases for items over $400.00 requires 1/3 of the amount due at the time of purchase, 1/3 due 30 days after the date of the original purchase, and the final 1/3 due 60 days after the date of the original purchase. Other allowable layaway arrangements are as approved by L.A. Bazaar Ltd.
Please note that a layaway requirement not met by the purchaser gives us the reserve right to terminate the transaction and re-offer the item for sale at our site to the general public. In addition, any partial payment made by the purchaser will be forfeited at that time.

All layaway items returned will have a re-stocking fee of 15% up to $2,000.00 of value or greater. Returned layaway items must be received back in the same condition as shipped and must be returned within seven [7] days of receiving the item.

Once the purchaser's layaway payments have all been received, the item will be shipped. Please do not hesitate to ask all questions pertinent to a layaway.
