Our Service Pledge
I pledge outstanding customer service and fast response to all orders and questions; always within 24 hours. In addition, I GUARANTY the authenticity of each listed item! I carefully research and photograph every item and guaranty each one to be "as described or better". All items are carefully protected in a smoke, odor, and pet free environment!
Ruby Lane and each of its independent shops want you to be satisfied with your purchase. To ensure your satisfaction and for the protection of both the buyer and shop owner, we have a Return Policy that each Ruby Lane shop owner honors. View Return Policy
All items are expertly packed and insured. My packaging gives the buyer absolutely NO worries about carrier theft or pilferage, as the return address gives the shop-owners name rather than the business name, and no insurance stamps or stickers give any clues as to the valuable contents. Buyer pays shipping, handling and insurance.
FREE US First Class Shipment on many items under $100 if they can safely be shipped inside an envelope. If your item fits this description and does not show Free Shipping, please email to inquire prior to ordering. I'm also happy to give the equivalent credit to International buyers to offset their shipping costs.
Shipment: I ship daily, Monday through Friday. Your item will be mailed after verified clearance of your Personal or Business check (please allow 15 banking days) and after actual funding of PayPal "E-Check" (please allow 5 banking days). Telephone numbers are "required" for shipment in case of any misdirection by the carrier.
The only International shipment method with tracking is Global Express. Shoppers assume all risk of packages shipped without insurance and / or tracking. If there is no choice on the item page to decline insurance, then insurance will be mandatory for that shipment.
If you pay with money orders or PayPal, your item will be mailed on the next mailing day following receipt of clear funds in our accounts. PayPal purchases will be shipped to verified/confirmed addresses ONLY; please ensure that you give the correct shipping address on your Ruby Lane purchase order.
Please note that if your Ruby Lane registration shows only a PO Box for shipping and/or contact information, I must ask for your physical address, which will allow me to locate you should something go awry with your order during shipment or if there is an issue with payment. Likewise, if your telephone number is not included in your registration, I will ask for it in order to ship your parcel.
Note: Closed dome doll heads are generally removed from the body and packed carefully to protect the eyes during shipment. If you prefer the head NOT be removed, please request alternative packing procedures when your order is placed.

I am pleased to offer generous layaway plans to buyers who desire deferred payment plans. While I do not charge interest for the use of shop funds over the layaway term, I do require that payments be made on time and in the agreed upon amount. My Layaway Agreement and Payment Plan outlines all of the terms, conditions, and penalties governing the agreement. The terms outlined below are for a "basic" layaway. Depending on the total of your layaway order, I may offer longer layaways (up to one year). All layaways must be negotiated and approved prior to an order being placed. Please email to tell me the items your are considering and what payment would work for you and we will go from there.
We do not charge restocking fees on purchases at listed prices. If you have negotiated a price lower than the listed sale price, or have made an offer that was accepted, a restocking fee of 10% will be charged. Layaways are subject to a Layaway Agreement which has its own Terms of Sale; please ask to review my Layaway Agreement via email prior to finalizing a layaway plan.
This shop offers a layaway plan for purchases. The Ruby Lane Return Policy does not apply to layaway purchases, and Layaway Plans may vary by shop. It is extremely important to read and understand this shops Layaway Plan below, and clarify any terms with the individual shop owner before you enter into a Layaway Plan agreement.

**Restocking and Cancellation Fees apply to the total purchase price of the item and DO NOT include shipping/handling or sales tax, which are the responsibility of the buyer.
ITEM STATUS is constantly updated. When a buyer clicks to purchase an item, a "sale pending" tag is automatically placed to ensure that another buyer cannot purchase your item. Listed items are available to any buyer who clicks on the "purchase" button and follows through with the sale; please understand that items are not on hold while you are asking questions, negotiating offers, or otherwise considering a purchase. All sales are "first come first served". If we have negotiated a different price on an item, this price is good for 24 hours only and will be considered "final sale". If you purchase after the 24 hour period has expired, the posted pricing will prevail. I reserve the right to block or cancel an order or refuse service for any reason without prior notice.
DOLL STANDS: I am liquidating my large inventory of doll stands. I have old and new doll stands in two styles and several sizes. Please send an email to inquire about availability and pricing.
DOMESTIC CUSTOMERS: Acceptable forms of payment include PayPal (due within 48 hours of order), personal checks, money orders and cashiers checks (due within 7 days of order). Items will be held in "sale pending" status until the expiration of the payment due date; if payment is not received within the designated time frame and request for extension is not approved, the item will be returned to available inventory without notice and will be subject to purchase by others. Personal and business checks must clear prior to shipment (please allow 15 business days); money orders, cashier's checks, and PayPal Electronic Check payments ensure shipment of your item on the next shipping day following receipt of cleared funds in our accounts. PayPal purchases are shipped to Confirmed Addresses ONLY; to avoid any delay, please ensure that you give the correct shipping address on your purchase order.
INTERNATIONAL CUSTOMERS: We accept International PayPal from PayPal approved countries. PayPal payments are due within 48 hours of order. CUSTOMS FORMS will bear factual information about your purchases; please do not ask us to falsify customs information. International buyers are responsible for taxes, tariffs, duties, or other charges levied against their purchases by the country the item is shipped to.
IDAHO residents pay 6.0% sales tax, or provide a signed Idaho resale tax certificate with payment.
Returned checks or checks requiring special handling due to insufficient funds or stop payments, will bear a $40 fee.
