Shipping/Handling/Insurance Policy

SHIPPING..DOMESTIC

We ship USPS insured/delivery confirmation for all domestic shipping we calculate the actual cost to you from the delivery information you provide us.

If you want faster service, just let us know, and we will accommodate you. Shipping charges are based on our cost when the item is packaged and weighed, insurance included and delivery confirmation. Please remember shipping is expensive no matter the shipping method, and to ensure your items arrive in the best condition possible, we must use the right materials and techniques.

PLEASE NOTE: If you wish an item to be shipped to a different address(a gift for example), please make sure that is noted at the time your purchase is being calculated. And this can effect the shipping cost.
SHIPPING POLICIES - INTERNATIONAL CUSTOMERS

International orders, outside of the United States are shipped either First Class International or Priority Mail via the USPS. If you wish to be able to track your package we suggest Priority Mail if not once the package leaves us we have no way to track it via First Class International Mail. Insurance is available and is calculated on the actual value of the item.

CUSTOMS DECLARATION: Please do NOT ask us to declare merchandise as a gift. We can appreciate the expense of taxes, but please do not ask us to be dishonest and prepare false documents.We are not trying to sound rude or unappreciative of your business but this comes up often and we are firm on our policy.

Keep in mind that your shipping rate rates will vary with the weight of the box and size of the box

Restocking Fee

For all merchandise returned in "not as shipped" condition,
ie: missing pieces(shoes, socks etc on dolls),(stones, pearls, scratches, broken clasps, etc, on jewelry) will be subject to a 10% restocking fee and all shipping costs(domestic shipping only) to buyer, will also be deducted.

Layaway Policy

This shop offers a layaway plan for purchases. The Ruby Lane Return Policy does not apply to layaway purchases, and Layaway Plans may vary by shop. It is extremely important to read and understand this shops Layaway Plan below, and clarify any terms with the individual shop owner before you enter into a Layaway Plan agreement.

TAX

New Jersey residents will automatically be charged sales tax. If you have a resale number it must be submitted at the time of purchase if not sales tax will be charged. No exceptions.

LAY-AWAY

We gladly accept lay-away on sales of $250 or more. Terms are: HALF down due immediately, and the remaining balance due within 30 days. NOTE: If payments are not received by the time agreed, your order is restocked and deposit forfeited. Deposits are NOT REFUNDABLE. There are no exceptions. We do not make reminder calls, so please keep track of your lay-away and when payments are due.
