Free First Class Mail to the Continental USA only. Priority Mail and Overnight Mail options are available please inquire about these added costs.
We sell and ship world wide using the USPS. We will quote all overseas items shipping insured unless the buyer selects the option to exclude insurance. This option must be selected at the same time the order is placed. If you change your mind, we will give you instructions on how to change this option just ask.
Please note these items on our site are subject to a prior sale, occasionally there can be a delay in marking items sold.
We pack all of our items extremely carefully in order to minimize the chance of damage during shipment. Should the unthinkable happen and your order does arrive damaged, you must take the entire order ( all contents and the original packaging material (boxes,packing material etc.)) to your local U.S. Post Office to file a claim. The U.S. Post Office will return the claim to us for processing. Please don't repack and don't mail the damaged items back to us. This will void the U.S. Post Office insurance and we will not be able to provide you with a refund.
Order Processing Policy:
After you place an order, you will receive an emailed confirmation that your order was placed. If you are paying by check, your order will be held for seven (7) days. If your payment is not received within these seven days then the hold will be removed from the item and the item (s) will be returned to stock. Current applicable fees will be charged in case of bounced checks.
International Buyers ï¾– Please Note:
Import duties, taxes and charges are not included in the item price or shipping charges. These charges are the buyer's responsibility.
Please check with your country's customs office to determine what these additional costs will be prior to bidding/buying.
These charges are normally collected by the delivering freight (shipping) company or when you pick the item up ï¾– do not confuse them for additional shipping charges.
We do not mark merchandise values below value or mark items as "gifts" - US and International government regulations prohibit such behavior.
This shop offers a layaway plan for purchases. The Ruby Lane Return Policy does not apply to layaway purchases, and Layaway Plans may vary by shop. It is extremely important to read and understand this shops Layaway Plan below, and clarify any terms with the individual shop owner before you enter into a Layaway Plan agreement.

CONDITION RATING EXPLANATION
MINT: New, in the box (from which it has never been removed), as it came from the factory. This criteria is so difficult to meet, that it is almost NEVER used.
Appears to be never worn or used, nor stored improperly. It may display its age by tarnishing, especially in silver (once polished, however, it is no longer Near Mint).
Top condition with no chipping, fading, missing stones, no yellowing stones, no peeling, no worn prongs or edges. Backs (especially of earrings) may be very slightly worn as long as the front is still in Top Condition. Replaced stones should be so perfect in size cut and color that it is virtually unnoticeable.
Well cared for with no missing stones, no dead stones or graying stones, no peeling pearls, enamel may have minor chips, may show slight wear or scratching on prongs, edges. Backs may be very moderately worn. Replaced stones should be a good match in size, cut and color.
Very wearable and acceptable, however, upon close inspection may reveal some poor foiling including spotting( the small "pepper" kind), minor clouding and minor darkening or graying stones, chipping, minor yellowing and wear.
Damage is immediately visible and may or may not be repairable, and might include missing stones,dark stones including spotting that is more than "pepper", broken parts, & severe wear.
In addition these subcategories may exist, along with appropriate explanations: ALTERED, REFURBISHED, RECONSTRUCTION, SOLDERED.
Condition versus Quality: Each piece of jewelry is evaluated according to condition. See above. The condition rating does not address the original quality. Costume jewelry was and is made in all grades of quality. A goodly amount of costume jewelry that was inexpensively made has become collectible. Quality is difficult to rate and isn't always apparent in the pictures . If your purchase does not meet your expectations, please let us know.
