We make every effort to ship within one business day and no more than three business days upon receipt of payment.

Return Policy

Ruby Lane and each of its independent shops want you to be satisfied with your purchase. To ensure your satisfaction and for the protection of both the buyer and shop owner, we have a Return Policy that each Ruby Lane shop owner honors. View Return Policy

Shipping/Handling/Insurance Policy

If multiple items are to be shipped, please do not make payment until you have received a final invoice as shipping fees will be less in many cases. We charge only what the USPS or other vendor requires for the shipping method you choose and there is never a handling fee. You can request a specified shipping date but we ask that it be no more than 15 days after payment. You may also have an item shipped to an address other than your own. Appropriate shipping fees will apply. Ruby Lane return policies will apply and we will include original shipping expenses in refunds. Return shipping will be the responsibility of the buyer, including insurance if the item was originally insured. On certain items, at our discretion, based on rarity, age or fragility we will require insurance and will state so in the item description. We will use only USPS or UPS as carriers. Customers outside of the US be aware that customs fees may be due upon delivery and that we have no control over this or the amount that may be charged. Please do not request that shipments outside the US be sent as a 'gift'.

Restocking Fee

Our shop does not have a restocking fee.

Layaway Policy

This shop does not offer a layaway plan for purchases

Other Information

In addition to Paypal and money orders, we will also accept cashiers checks from your financial institution and payment via Western Union as well.
Customers in Iowa will be required to pay applicable sales tax, currently 6%. An alternate shipping address will not negate this.
