Ruby Lane Wins Second Place in the 2013 Sellers Choice Awards
On February 3rd, EcommerceBytes.com (formerly AuctionBytes.com), an independent trade publication for online merchants, released its 2013 Seller's Choice Marketplace Ratings. Ruby Lane ranked as the number two online marketplace to sell on.
More than 11,500 online sellers rated 16 ecommerce sites including Etsy, Amazon, Bonanza, Craigslist, Ebay, TIAS and Ruby Lane. EcommerceBytes survey researched online sellers opinions on sites profitability, customer service, communication, ease of use and if they would recommend the site to others.
We are pleased to report that Ruby Lane not only ranked second overall, but sellers ranked Ruby Lane's customer service and communications #1. It is very meaningful to have such high praise from our shop owners. Thanks to all of our shops who took the time to fill out the EcommerceBytes survey.
Survey results, like those from the EcommerceBytes survey, are great indicators of where we are doing a good job, and where we can improve. Ruby Lane also placed first, third and second in the 2010, 2011 and 2012 surveys respectively.

Promotion: Join Ruby Lane for Only a $15 Setup Fee
Great news! To help celebrate our 15th year in business, we have reduced our shop set-up fee to $15 for new shop owners wanting to sell on Ruby Lane.
2013 will be full of 15-year anniversary promotions, and we want to continue our celebration beyond our current buyers and sellers, to include new shop owners who join the site.
Beginning February 1st, 2013 through December 31st, 2013, all new shops who join Ruby Lane only pay a $15 set-up fee instead of the usual $75 fee. You must request to open by December 31st to receive the promotion.
We are proud of our long history of partnering with our sellers from around the world. Our goal is to make buying and selling online both effortless and rewarding.
